Brilliant and insightful retort. Almost on par with "shut up, nerd."

To what? you denigrating nursing? lol, pass. I'll just call you fucking nuts, coz that's what you are. At least most of the people who post here actually have an excuse to talk shit about nursing, but you actually know better, and so you know how dumb you sound right now. i'm just full of lulz over it.

Where was the denigration of nursing? The joke was using a two-year degree and archaic usage to join an exclusive group. Oh, the bedpan thing? I associate that more with unskilled assistants. That was just for you, not nursing in general, with the gist that you can't get a job in nursing, despite it currently being one of the highest growth occupations.

Do you actually work in nursing?

Still curious.

Not in the state I work in. Nothing but cutbacks in the hospital I work in. The only way you can be guaranteed a job is by being a traveler getting shoved from state to state whenever they want you moved.

Is that for LPNs? My cousin finished her RN last May and had multiple job offers within two weeks.

I can only speak for the state that I work in (CT), the job market for nurses sucks unless they want to move far away. I've heard the market in the state I live in (MA) isn't that bad but I haven't heard great things either.

I decided to take some time off after school and do other things. I have the education, can start working whenever I want, but am comfortable doing what I'm doing right now. Why you trying so hard to hate?
