Some things to note about the BFG. (I know this is a West Wastes post)

The plank can spawn tons of places in Iceclad, not just what is in the stock emu code.

Also, and most importantly, what made it so rare was that if the plank spawned underwater, you couldn't pick it up. That was a bug that wasn't fixed prior to the plank being out of the game. Basically, every time the zone crashed/server went up and down, people with Showeq would run check if it was on dry land, if not you couldn't get one until the server/zone rebooted.

Rangers can Trueshot while meleeing with the BFG, and get double melee damage, since it's flagged Bow/Mainhand. Cool for when shit is stuck in walls. Because of this, rangers could also melee Emperor Ssra with a BFG in Main Hand/Bane Bow equipped.

Also, the Right Click is very resistible.

Yeah frozen shard is in this era. Most rogues capable of doing it (55+) had their epic raiding (and were no longer raiding if they didn't get off their asses and finish it).

He dropped Frozen Shard since release... that's confirmable. The quest itself is harder to confirm.

I'd put a wager it was in from the start however.

Also want to toss a mention out to the aggro radius on the wolves. The default PEQ database had a really low radius set last time I checked.

They were much scarier on live (as a poor cleric without invis).
