My biggest hurdle with getting into these games is the community seems deadset on never allowing any other map to be played, like, the map is the game.

To me thats as silly as saying there should only be one map for starcraft or any other RTS

Went onto the DOTA 2 website (for comedy), looks like there's an open signup now.

For LoL its between the classic map and dominion, and very few play the twisted treeline which is actually fun too [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

LoL is still let down by its user base. People can't command English properly and everything is typed with the minimum of effort. "omg lux noob wtf" etc. I hear HoN is as bad for it but never really played it.

Yeah I've not played in about 9 months, shit evolves on LoL very quickly... never heard of the ARAM+++ stuff.

Anyone watch Ciderhelm's streams? (www.twitch.tv/ciderhelm). He used to be on YouTube but doesn't do his streams there anymore. That's about as far as my LoL immersion goes til I get a new pee cee.
