As far as LEDs go... I've been out of the loop, doing my own thang for too long. No idea what the cool kids are into these days. Seems very logical to have super bright, super cool running, super efficient LEDs. Definitely the future.

Light movers are one more mechanized gadget to break/malfunction/fuck up a plant or room. I try to minimize variables. And hassles.

CO2 falls into the hassle category - are you filling up scuba sized tanks or how does that work? Have you ever done a controlled experiment (CO2 vs non CO2) with identical strains, wattage and conditions?
LED are offering more "Pure Light"

If you add up your power costs at the end of your grow , over a year the more expensive light will pay for itself, not to mention, california lightworks is now including a UVB Bulb with a seperate switch so you can use it in the last half of your bloom cycle. UVB Makes plants "Sweat" To protect themselves from it and will basically add 30% More thc

Also please understand sodium bulbs color shift after 60 days , 90 tops, the 2015 digilux bulbs are advertising a guaranteed 6 months without the shift, and its already been tested as bullshit. TLDR That means your sodium bulb sucks after 2 months.

In general a LED Will offer 30% more performance in your bloom cycle over sodium, adding C02 will offer another 30%

Please keep in mind those numbers are based on what i would call a perfect grow, in which you are using PURIFIED WATER And a cal/mag supplement and have a healthy reservoir ( Stop growing in fucking soil )

Also do not forget that success in growing means a perfect balance of nutrients and proper flushing * Using a flushing agent like clearex* And not just fucking water because water does not dissolve mineral salts.

First half of your bloom cycle use a flowering "Enhancer" Second half use a flower "Hardener" Sweeteners are a bonus item for certain strains, also using a "Ripening" product can make some strains polish very very nicely if you are going for a sticky end product but must be used very carefully as they kill leaves fast.

Having a plant with no leaves that isnt finished budding can be bad.

Do not ever expect to break 5% thc growing in soil with sodium, its just not possible.

C02 can be a hassle, for your small grow you can buy c02 bags or buckets that just time release it, i recommend visiting a welding store or a brewing store and purchasing a 50 lb tank, grab a simple regulator kit and you are up, Also understand less heat means less venting, less time your co2 can blanket your plants. You will go through leaves too fast with metal halide or sodium and your plants will have to waste sugar replacing them.

if you grow in a greenhouse like hurb you should have c02 generators as they are the most cost effective way to get endless co2.

If you are interested in purchasing a LED or asking more questions , you can PM Me, i am an authorized lumigrow and california lightworks dealer. ( Top 2 LED's in US )
