Yeah, weekends suck. 13k players yesterday made it frustrating to try and do anything.

Makes it fun just running around as a level 40 PvPing people though. You can find easy targets everywhere.

What's the point of pvping in WoW, though?

It does nothing. You kill someone so they have to ghost to their corpse in 15 seconds. Then you run at eachother again like retards.

I really wanted to love WoW. It does so many things incredibly well, but world pvp was never one of those things. You can't even talk to the other side.

amen that was always my issue with wow pvp, fucking graveyard like 10 second run away 75% of the time, no real penalty.

WoW was fun back in classic, but its a hard game to get back into. I had the privilege of leading a 40 man guild for almost two years and it was one of my best online experiences.

You can fuck someones day up if you dedicate the time. Just have to be creative about it.

What are some creative ways to fuck someone's day up?

The best I managed was mind-control hatting someone to the lava pit outside of Blackrock Spire zone-in, and then trying to get them again as soon as they revived. It drove me nuts that I couldn't actually go inside after them.

Yeah, you'd see dedicated pvp'ers slaughtering people in some hotspots, but the most impact that guy is making is just forcing a newbie to spend an extra two minutes flying to another zone. It's not like EQ where you were shit out of luck if lighties invaded Guk and controlled it (worse yet if they killed you down there).

lol i been walkn around in general asking this quesiton over and over, i dont get it...

but a pal the other night was messaging me and talkn about how he was killing lowbies, theya ll band together, and some other level 60s come in, and it turned into this like 2 v 20 that sounded pretty fun...

I guess with a high pop, thats what you're after with open world pvp? I could see that being fun..

But basically my thoughts before that were, this game is ez mode, if I die, i dont ever give a fuck.. so why even grief at all?
