Not really, I was working out for the draft, had an agent but then re-injured my herniated discs in my back. So I hung up my cleats rather than chasing the dream. I have the back of a 50 year old man at 25.
Texans even called me on draft day because apparently they didn't see that I had resigned from my agent, so it was weird telling them "I'm not really playing anymore" ha. I actually hung up on the guy cause I thought it was my brother pranking me but then he told me it wasn't so I called em back. It doesn't bother me at all. I would rather be able to play catch with my kids someday and be able to walk then beat my body to hell. If you don't understand this, ask anyone with chronic back problems. My legs go numb every so often from my back being messed up. Not many people can say that they played division 1 football, let alone 3 brothers in the same family. (Except for the Gronks of course) To answer you're question in short: No it doesn't burn my ass.
