And Velious too, replace that with standing on the line and running and having 60 nerds. EQ isnt hard.
EQ was hard in certain expansions. Just not the ones on this server.

The 1-hour lock in time really decreases the need to have multiple 60s all over the place and the larger number of Velious targets spreads them out. Casual guilds have more opportunities to kill targets in Velious to do this, which is why I said especially Kunark.

See the several KTs, and ToV Dragons that Rustle and CSG have gotten with only single or two people racing, then killing it 50 minutes later once they move their guilds over there. Much more friendly than the snap pulls of Kunark days.

Raev's loot whoring guild didn't even need a reversal of message to fall apart.

It's pretty amazing really. I never really thought about it like that but it's pretty true. Another good example is: "We're a casual guild" - I pointed out how stupid this was on many many occasions. I don't know if they just repeat how casual they are over and over again to justify the lack of performance or if it's because of Chest's deep hatred of the ultra hardcore guilds on P99 and wanting to distance himself from them by lying about being casual. Take it from someone who's been there. There's not a single "casual" aspect of BDA besides having lots of people playing poorly. I don't want to throw blanket statements on all BDA players because there's quite a few that are very good at the game and their class. But unfortunately the mediocre/subpar outweigh the good.

Post the unedited image if you want. I would myself if I had taken a screencap of it before I lost forum access. I don't have anything to hide in what I said.
I do not think you get the casual server strat. It's not about actually being casual, it's about using that term as a wedge to try to divide off the loonies and create at least some space to not be one.

Regardless of who was pushing for it, the fact that your guild didn't collapse under a complete reversal of message (from 'we're the champions of casual' to 'we're going to stomp on every other casual guild') is amazing to me. Maybe I am misplacing the credit though <shrug>
It didn't collapse because pretty much everyone in the guild saw the same shit happening for over a year - a select few guilds abusing the system at expense of the bigger guilds (Taken/BDA/Divinity). Not to mention Chest/Anichek gave everyone access to the Rotation boards when it became a lost cause just so people could see the non-stop arguing/whining first hand.

The biggest mistake was agreeing to become the fall guy. Should have had all 3 guilds take part in announcing the rotation failure instead of Chest/Anichek alone - Taken and Divinity wanted it to end just as much or moreso. The proof is on the FAP boards, Chest and Anichek tried to keep the rotation together when it should have died many times before - probably because BDA was the main proponent of it's creation in the first place. They didn't want it to fail.

Yeah exactly. No one but Raev and Swish give a shit at this point.

P99 is working how Nilbog/Rogean/Sirken want it to, and BDA is enjoying raiding when and how they want on another server.

This thread only gets updated now because people are bored at work.
