Very sleepy post I have a huge catalogue that spans across several different limmericks of various tones.

How exactly is it in the interest of the government to advance a false narrative about climate change? I feel like you've just listened to Alex Jones and haven't really thought this through.

The United States is one of the world's largest oil/gas producers and our government is controlled by a cabal of elites who have a very large stake in all that wealth. If anything they've been desperately trying to get Republicans in power who vocally deny the science, and paying off crooked Democrats like Clinton to be mum on the issue.

Believe it or not, much of the science doesn't rely directly on earmarked government funding but on generalized funding disbursed to universities by a combination of government and private donors who then decide how to spend it. Nevertheless their findings match those of government bodies like NASA.
