We aren't hateful like the previous administration, who wanted to keep cartel sex trafficking mega-criminals out. Instead you get to be potentially murdered and robbed by an illegal immigrant, for progress!

You gotta love the grab bag of vague terms that they just mix together too; "immigrant", "migrant", "asylum-seeker", "dreamer". Unfortunately they never include "cartel dude who has probably cut somebody's head off before".

Here's your daily reminder that neither party actually wants to stop illegal immigration. The corporations that run both parties depend on illegal third world immigrants to depress wages and perform bitchwork for pennies. Republicans controlled the entire government 2016-2018 and did exactly nothing about it. Democrats of course aren't going to do anything about it. The solution is to enforce employment RealID laws. This would more than likely be economically devastating for corporations. Not so much for the middle class, which would most certainly see some wage growth.

Also, having basically 1/3 of the next generation made up of immigrants presents a pretty dire problem when the success of our country depends on anglo-saxon-Yankee culture (protestant ethic, common law tradition, etc). Has nothing to do with race and has everything to do with culture. I'm all for legal immigration if it's followed within a generation by assimilation. Unfortunately it's very difficult to assimilate tens of millions of illegal immigrants who have no legal status, identify very little with the country they are living in, and are mainly there to send remittances back to Guatemala or wherever the fuck.

It's not xenophobic to want to enforce the laws of your country. Fuck our dumbshit system of government and both political parties which are complicit in this. Seriously we can't even reform the IRS to simplify taxation because Turbotax's lobbying is too powerful. What chance do you think American people have against every single corporation that depends on illegal immigrant labor to depress wages lol
