Have some damn culture. This is a classic outtake of a practice session. Leonard Bernstein arguing with Christa Ludwig. During this period, she was not some lightweight singer. She was like the Kesha of her day.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f32bhICi-zI Best way to understand a form of music is to observe how it's made. The bonus of classical music is, if your goal is to salvage what's left of your hearing after a couple decades of clubs, bars, concerts, and just the nature of the loud music itself, classical is conversation-level music, most of it, and really prevents future hearing damage. I seldom listen to the "huge" symphonic stuff that indeed gets very loud (especially if you sit in the first 10 rows! Not kidding!) But that's my issue. My hearing is still fine. Tinnitus but not as bad as some of my peers. But I really, really want to be able to go hear some Beethoven when I'm 70. Life goals lol.

Carrying water for a billionaire who would personally throw you and your grandma in a woodchipper for an extra fifty bucks is a sign of a servile, conditioned mind.
No wonder all you alt-right fellas bow at the feet of the rich. No backbones. No ideas. Just "great man" worship.

1. Is pathological hoarding of wealth 2. Is only ever concentrated that highly through the aggregate suffering of millions 3. Provides too much power for one person in a system where you can so easily buy votes and subvert the democratic process I'm getting so tired of narcissistic, ambitious psychopaths rampaging around the world fucking everyone and everything up. Most people all over the world just want to live their fucking lives without having their impressionable friends and neighbors radicalized by angry lies that drive engagement, or having our government lobbied to depress the value of our labor, among other things. Some form of billionaire tax or corporate reform would go such a long way toward minimizing the damage these people can do. Give em a plaque or something that says, 'Congratulations, you won capitalism!', then tax anything over $1 billion. Makes absolutely zero difference for their lives, except for depriving them of power nobody should ever have, to spend endlessly in order to fuck over other people. Quote:

Unfortunately you have to have some baseline understanding of economics and history to know why this is necessary. Wealth tends to aggregate, as wealth begets more wealth. Your opportunities for enterprise become orders of magnitude more lucrative the more capital you have available. That's kind of the whole point of the system. Pro-tip: taxes similar to this existed for much of the 20th century, and society not only didn't implode, but was far healthier.

The vast majority of theft is wage theft of all types, but, noo, that's corporate and not government, as if there's really a difference anymore
