As for crypto, I pick them based on their names, like any smart investor, and that name sounds wrong in my ears, "bitcoin" bleh ew. Put that in the bin with "moist" and "nipples"

Christians don’t like Joel Olsteen because he doesn’t preach Christianity, but neither do most Christians so I guess he just has a bigger target on him because he rakes in the big bucks. Because he is so famous he provides a big face point at what is wrong with Christianity, which in fact is simply all the same things wrong with any other collection of humans.

So I guess he misrepresents the ideal but on such a large stage that a lot of people
feel the need to denounce him.

As far as his messages help people, that’s great. The things that open our eyes don’t have to be perfect things themselves. God uses whatever he can to wake us up.

I don’t know anything about Joel Osteen not teaching Christianity but he sure as hell teaches people how to live with their neighbors, how to keep sane and strong in a harsh world.

I mean it’s really hopeful stuff if you listen to him it’s hopeful he does not say anything that I disagree with not one thing that he says I think any of you would disagree with.

I can’t get mad at him for being a capitalist this is America and I sure as hell don’t have anything against capitalism.

The difference between him or say, Jobs or Elon or Mark Zuckerberg, Is that his job literally every day is to get out in front of people and to just reinforce that they are not alone that they have family but if they are good to each other if they’re good to their neighbors they’ll be good people and that goodness is good I mean really he has a strong positive message!

He gets a lot of hate because he’s a capitalist but meanwhile Democrats are the most capitalists loving psychopaths on the planet who will watch 10,000 hours of a TikTokerwho spreads 10 million hours of the most negative most toxic shit possible.

Joel Osteen is a good dude. When my wife was going through some major depression issues, he was really helpful in getting her to see the positive side of life.

I know a lot of Christians accuse him of preaching the “prosperity gospel” but frankly, I don’t think there is anything wrong with that. I have met too many Christians, especially when I lived in the south, who were content with being fat and poor because the opposite of those was vanity.

Joel often talks about how you can’t help anyone else if you are fat, sick or broke. I agree with that statement.

Joel does have a lot of money, but I think he does more to help people than most other millionaires. He does not come off as a pretentious fellow, though I do think his wife does.

I just put him on a few times to see what all the hype/hate was about (or test how much of a boomer I've become) and after watching as much of it as I could possibly stand I was pretty much shocked at how literally everything he said was the most moral and thoughtful and empathetic way you could approach pretty much every situation in a persons life who regularly shops at dollar tree.

Rich or greedy, he does help people who need it in a positive and effective way IMO.

Too often have I seen the people who need help forgotten about after the hype train is ended with my empathetic progressive allies.
