It all looks like fun and interesting pve, but they didn't even make mention of pvp. PvP is where real innovation would show.

It's like watching the Tasmanian Devil rip through stuff. Good for Looney Tunes, not for EQ.

But I like almost all of the rest of it.

The whole presentation screamed "We don't know what to do so do it for us, will ya?" Design and build the world for us then vote for everything that you think you want in an MMO because the majority is always right, right? Aside from that some of the tech ideas were impressive and it was pretty to look at here and there.

They could make the world they want and throw it out there and have everyone complain or they can give you the option of "helping" create it so when the playerbase hates it they can say "well you made it"

I missed the broadcast and had no interest at all, until reading in these comments that it will not have level based system. I'm willing to check it out just for that alone, the high-fantasy MMO scene desperately needs a non-level based MMORG. I thought WOW's success would have doomed us to ~2 decades of rip-offs.

Even some UO-like** mess would be a breath of fresh air at this point.

** I mean classic UO, no idea what it turned into over the almost 20 years now

yeah, I am not a fan of the wow looking models, I always like more life like looking characters.. ahh well. I will definitely check the game out though once released, sounds like it may be fun.
