This exact attitude I believe is why Tempest ultimately failed, they didn't seem to care about winning, only getting the best loots. Just about all of the mobs drop something that someone in your guild will be happy about, and when you only care about the top prizes, your average members will suffer watching only the elites get any loot at all.
At the end of the day victory is a better prize than all the pixels in EQ will ever be.
Tempest’s problem was the same as what the rest of these guilds have. We didn’t have the numbers to go after targets 24/7.

giggling at azure guard.

Those targets don’t matter much, maybe CT....

All the mobs you named are dwarfed in terms of itemization compared to vulak/doze/vyemm/kriezan etc... the amount of BiS in that list is minimal at best. That’s why they don’t matter. At this point the dragons/mobs you named are prolly alt status in AM since they only have a couple items each on their loot table..
You realize that AG only just started showing up in ToV and competing recently? For a guild that wasn't in the zone not too long ago, this is pretty damn good. They've gone from being a consistent threat to AM in Sleepers/Yeli/Dain etc to threatening us on lower level ToV mobs. You wanna bet they won't be a threat on Vulak&friends in the near future?

I can't speak for the rest of the guild, but I'm happy to see them stepping up and bringing the competition. I remember FFA foot races and cockblock wars over AoW back on live and I missed that spirit of competition when I played other mmos after. It's one of the main things that brought me to P99. And AG (and Core/BG, & Paradiggums) are nice people with good leaders who work with us and each other. That goes a long way.

Only until AG gets sick of it and the two merge.
