There's a +50% xp bonus going on right now and I had a +25% xp pot active and joined a pug group at Velks Castle and was averaging 1 AA every 12-15 minutes or so. Was a pretty solid pug though. Had no tank or CC was just a group full of DPS and a cleric lol. Think it was Monk Monk Ranger Bard Beastlord Cleric. Bard was AE snare/slowing and tanking. AA's and raid gear trivialized that place. We were pulling like 5-6 at a time without CCing and I barely had to do anything but click my pants to heal.

This sounds like retard mode EQ. How was it when you were starting AAs? I'd imagine most people in that group had a boatload of AAs already.

it's about 4aa's an hour depending on camp and pace. 6 if you really push, and 2 if the camp sucks or your group sucks.

Raid geared from velious it went fairly fast, i had EQ/AM3 really quickly. and i have about 160 AAs atm

To be fair, Project 1999 is starting to reach the same level.

velks is still monster XP, especially if you can maul upper and lower dogs

grieg's end gate group is super duper, so is ssra mines, i'm sure HS is still good too

XP is all about volume really
