Might be the next year tho, that’s def reasonable The thing is from reading about covid deaths, it’s all sorts of different stuff that can kill ya once covid is wrecking their system. Organs shutting down, getting infections, oozing fluids out their pores which sounds fucking disgusting. Some of the stories had them getting toweled off multiple times/day because of how much fluids their dying body was leaking out their skin, I didn’t even know that was possible Or lungs turning to concrete so the oxygen from the breathing machine can’t do shit. Which is why those machines almost never saved anyone

And these are stories from their usually anti-vaxx wife or family on fb or social media, so def wouldn’t be exaggerating On the contrary, they’re always like “well he’s developed 3 new infections and is now on dialysis, but my boo is gonna turn this around” It’s so fuckin sad

The sorryantivaxxer site, the old school initial-strain entries. That site took a lot outta me, some humanity that rotten.com and ogrish.com hadn’t taken when I discovered those at age 10
You see the pics of the person, and right away you’re thinking “oh yea man, why the fuck didn’t you get the vaxx? You are so fucked!”. And then the story of how they catch it, the family laughing and taunting the cold, the person posting “I have an immune system”. And then they can’t breathe, and pass out, and it’s er time. And from there the nightmare begins, because ER’s are actually quite good at keeping the walking dead (unconscious laying dead technically) going far longer than they probably should. And you hear all the other horrible shit start coming up. Lack of oxygen is actually not often the thing that kills them, if I recall a lot of times it was kidney failure, or liver, one of those And the entire time the family is in horrible sad denial of the inevitable fate. And then the person dies, and the family posts about their funeral. And some of the prayers were some of the most beautiful shit I’ve ever read, so you ALMOST leave on a slightly higher note But then right there are the comments, hundreds and hundreds of Democrats going “LOL GOT WHAT HE DESERVED you stupid fuck! How you like your “FREE-DUMB” now? LOL WIFE IS NEXT, GUYS!” that really shredded faith in humanity too

One of the things I hated most about that site was back years ago in those entries the poor family in denial would post some kind of minor positive update. Like multiple systems in the person’s body would be failing but their oxygen level would be up like a few points. And they would focus on that as some sign they are going to turn the corner And I remember the person running the site would often interject a sarcastic “LOL Dead Cat Bounce” comment right after in the timeline God I hate that expression now. That site ruined it for me

Starting to see why staff locked those threads. Pushing the taunts or pain from either side most likely upsets those who lost someone.

Then I just couldn’t do it anymore, and haven’t really checked since There are better ways to get the info of what the initial strains of covid could do to the very vulnerable, but even with all the venom I still found the info valuable, at least And it made me wish certain members of my family had or would get the vaxx
