Mass casualty terror attacks like this are going to be changing the political landscape for 2016.

Esp hurts Bernie who looks really out of touch now with his policies. He may not be, but the optics are the optics. Society is society. People will use the debate statement on climate change against him now.

Trump gets a huge boost for the primary.

Jeb gains nothing as a moderate. Expect him to go the Ben Carson route and pop a few amphetamine salts for the next debate.

I also expect a few GOP candidates to alter their campaigns.

Trump is far from perfect, but he's a hell of a lot better than these career politicians (especially Hilary - whom will win anyway.... its already lined up / set in stone). Still though, I'm willing to bet my vote / 4 years on him. If he fails (and I dont think he will), then we'll just have to vote someone else in in 2020.

yea but I did say that IF Bernie has an obvious lead in the public eye, and the leftist media pulls a fox news onthem and just keeps pushing Hillary, it will blow up in their face.

Leftist voters don't take kindly to fox newsification and they are already building towards a media shakedown from the media reaction to this debate.

its a good thing!

Any proof of this? You got a major blog link? Or any evidence of this at all? Or is this just your feeling based on collective observations you have made?

I always thought the left didn't care much about fairness and would "Back their guy".

Partisan politics under the obama admin has turned a lot of people against each other, I would think that left vs right zealotry would be at an all-time high for this election especially on the left.

The right at least had the Tea-Party for change, gave us Ted Cruz in the senate by landslide election, and was able to send John Boehner packing. The left had?...Harry Reid retiring of old age?...

yea its just my feeling.. I could be in a bubble but its only been a day and people have been sharing that image of the poles vs the headlines all over the place.. I think the attention to this will grow as Bernie's popularity continues to, if the media doesn't start being less obvious about its attempts at manipulating the democratic voters, im confiditent it will blow up in their face.

One thing that I find frustrating about my party is, the anger or lack of faith anyone puts into the old "hope" & "change" message Obama lead with...

Its like, did we think those were things we could just elect, and they would fix our problems? The fact that people are like, 'it hasn't changed, nothing is different!' is just not true, a lot is different, and those were ideals, ideals that we need to continue to have for them to work. They just arnt two magic words that you can say you want ,and then 2 years later expect them to just change everything.

If people wanted hope and change 8 years ago, they should continue to support that philosophy but backing Bernie Sanders.

It'd be a shame for that ideal to just fade away so quickly. I hope the cause stays the cause and we continue to hope for a better world, rather than expect one or even two elected presidents to just snap their fingers and fix all our problems.

At this point Bernie can come out straight and say "I have no care or plan for foreign policy." And his supporters won't even blink.
Don't mistake Bernie's contempt for expansionism and interventionism for a lack of foreign policy. US obsession with being a world hegemon is a recent phenomenon and one that hasn't exactly been constructive. Bernie strongly wants to put a lid on the military industrial complex, which is something that desperately needs to happen. That kind of foreign policy is hardly compatible with the venue, and I suspect if he elaborated on it, he would have gotten hammered. Jingoist USA just isn't ready to hear it. We just love our military way too damn much.
