So I was doomscrolling FB on a slow day here at work, and came across this MTG post

I was like what is so interesting about some random red spell. It doesn’t seem funny, or OP. Then I remembered there was a Final Fantasy set coming

Then I noticed the artwork, and connected the dots. Looks like MTG did an homage to one of the original video game memes that Sabin in FF3 could use his unique blitz abilities to suplex the ghost train

Not to glaze too much, but when people talk about Tyler1 they usually cite the fact he got the highest LoL rank (challenger, like top 0.2%) with every single role (top, mid, jungle, bottom). If I recall doing it with top or one of those took like 5,000+ games or some crazy shit

Or else they talk about how he picked up chess and quickly got grandmaster elo like 1400 or something

But no one mentions that the dude can also max squat 6 goddamn plates once, and do multiple reps of 5 plates. That is fucking bonkers, even on PED’s. There’s gyms where no one in the gym can do that

Explain. I fully intended to get that going when it launched but I just couldn't muster it.

No it was fantastic. Easily the best version of WoW I've ever played. Perfect for dad life, but could also still min/max and stand out.

They recently announced no more development / content. Pushing people to MoP classic (I won't be going) with free 85 boost if you kill the first boss in Scarlet Enclave.

waste of time, being good at chess is a disability/nostalgia thing like baseball, the manual transmission..etc

4x strategy computer games have been a thing for like 40 years now, peaking with Eve Online.

Magnus is good at chess, i'd be way more impressed if he could lead a fleet or a empire in Eve though

where the board pieces are other human beings, leadership skills are needed, and the pieces and board size is orders of magnitude bigger and more complex.
