Well the end goal isn't becoming a Virologist.

It's about doing the tiniest amount of research to make a well informed decision.

Research involves more than reading about the science. It's also researching motives of people, their finances, the politics, etc.

Not doing ANY research before you make a decision to put a brand new drug into your body is beyond insane to me.

Replacing O ring in toilet, easy right? Sorry, it required a plumbing license, which is normally 2 years of trade school, and another 2-3 years in the field before you are licensed.

Introduction to virology. Lets see, BA in BIOLOGY, the easiest college course in existence, biology was so fucking easy I never attended a lecture. So you have 4 years there, then you are " Allowed " to enter into the class.

Not comparable? Well, time investment is similar.

Can a laymen understand basic virology? Well, if you can read, you can.

-Chemistry
-Organic chemistry
-Biology 101 + anything else you feel like, so god damn easy

WOW you now have the base requirements for introduction to virology.
