As soon as I see ONE player march up to a mob camp area I am at, I 100% expect them to try something sheisty and I am on high alert waiting for them to try something dirty. You been here WAY too long to not be the same way as me. [You must be logged in to view images. Basically BG played dirtier than you, and won. Also to note, both parties tried to win the ever-important encounter with the Legendary Summoned Sirken. When BG won The Favor of Sirken through master mob-lawyering, the situation was brought to RnF for some fun and with hopes that some vindication would be wrought out of it. TL;DR All I got from this thread was you need to up your dirty playing and not be so upset when you are outplayed via dirty tactics. I also learned Manasana types out very long raging run-on sentences and is a neocon that hates liberals. And, I learned some of BG are masters at playing dirty so I will be on extremely high alert anytime I see this guild near any valuable mobs I am trying to camp.

Napoleon's strategy at Austerlitz relied heavily on him getting his opponents to believe he was weak and therefore goad them into attacking him. His victory at Austerlitz is considered to be one of the greatest tactical battles in history (next to Hannibal's victory at Cannae), in part because he really was weaker (his force was smaller than the Prussians' and the Holy Roman Empire's at the time), and also because he accurately predicted exactly what needed to happen to ensure his victory. Historians pretty widely accept his strategy at Austerlitz as a great one, so unless you want to contest that, the only matter of contention is "can fooling your opponent into thinking you're weak and then defeating him when he abandons his position to attack you be considered a 'dick move'". Back on topic though, I'd hardly consider playing an 18 year old PVE MMO to be on the same level as fighting an enemy army in a battle that will decide the fate of your nation. One seems a little more acceptable to fight tooth and nail as it's literally a matter of life and death, the other is just a video game, and I'd expect more people to be willing to adhere to common decency when 'competing' in the latter.
