How is the server now? Wife and I said fuck it due to the over population at launch. Wouldn't mind giving it another look now....but I am guessing it is top heavy with bored kiddies ganking anything that moves in the leveling zones...which is a whole nother problem.
Population is well proportioned right now. Not going to lie and say that 60s will never gank you, but my experience so far is that I've died more by engaging someone else than being engaged. Some areas are definitely more problematic than others, though. Avoid STV at all costs.

Server population is in the 8000s at times. Live servers were like 1/4th to 1/3rd of that. The population is still trending up.

It can get a bit laggy at times, but for an emulated server to come close to 10k people online at once is fucking crazy.

IIRC there server is sponsored by some rich guy...any chance of a 2nd/3rd server opening to help spread out the load?

Nos does not have 7800 ppl on it, they use a bot to beef up their player base, another good option, is Kronos, its Vanilla, 1.12.1 patch, and is almost completely bug free. The drawback to this server though is that it has a low population, probably about 500 people on each faction at peak times. And BGs don't really exsist unless you're 60.

This is Kronos B.S. propaganda. Nost does indeed have 8k+ online at peak.

I've heard this before. *coughBScough*
I've never seen a private wow server that is almost complete in any regard. There are those who continue to improve and those who fake it.

It felt very classic/solid EMU but I just couldn't find the heart to do Vanilla WoW all over again. I rerolled on P1999 Red instead.
