If you think about it, you are going to have melee classes with epics and kunark armor, but wizards with only lvl 50 spells.......so I'm still wondering how its all going to balance out.

I wouldn't worry about melee classes I mean mage bolts flying through objects and dot stacking fear of a melee who needs to kill players to get his epic is the at the bottom of that list!

If it is anything like the last server they will likely have some form of focus items in the game for casters, or possibly non classic spells available for purchase from a vendor.

Amazon lists the Titanium client release date at 1-10-2006, and if you use lucy to view the spell history for ice comet for example, you'll see the changes made leading up to that (unconfirmed) spell file date:

2005-04-12 13:05 Changed Casting Time from 6.3 seconds to 5.0 seconds
2005-04-12 13:05 Changed Mana cost from 400 to 203
2005-04-12 13:05 Changed Slot 1 from "Decrease Hitpoints by 1110 (L49) to 1120 (L50)" to "Decrease Hitpoints by 808"

So while it should do about 27% less damage than here, it'll cast roughly 20% faster and cost half the mana - before any focus item changes.

Also take conflagration as an example.

From what I remember from playing the progression servers, you basically have conflag, rend and ice comet all doing roughly the same damage but different elemental types. Ice comet isn't the only nuke you use, its situation depending on what resist you want to go after.

Am I wrong? The box is literally going to be 80% players that were banned for cheating etc. I'm not trying to play there regardless with my close group of 15 guys who were all banned at some point off this box here.

I tested a lvl 50 wiz last night. Both rend and conflag hit for low 600's and ice comet hit for 714 dmg.

The cast times were changed but mana cost remained the same aka Ice comet 400 mana still.

You were banned for cheating on this server. Do you honestly think ANYTHING you say matters ?

I remember when you said you don't have time to play here but suddenly some new server with 25 population opens up and you and the rest of the az crew that lost the box here is suddenly alive.
