This is shaking out to the be weirdest election of my lifetime so I'm not sure.

On one hand we have the Hand of God. The Lord is wrought or tests us, but either way the virus comes and it mostly affects the mind. It's the first Amygdalic Virus. It's causing fear and panic and lots of irrational thoughts. Very strong emotions with this one, less so with the coughing. It's a great variable.

On the other hand we have the riots, which were a gigantic misfire by the Democrats. Cowed and instructed they allowed their footsoldiers a little too much latitude. I don't think the continuous scenes of a devastated and boarded-up America are winning the Democrats any good will here, being how they run these giant burning shitholes.

Things are so volatile I have no idea.

Yes, although I was referring to policy and management decisions. Like their job is to explain the situation and other people make decisions, people who see the big picture outside the test tube. Like when Fauci said "pause in the opening and maybe even take a step back in our phases" that's not an opinion he should have because he only sees the medical/scientific applications, and meanwhile I can't go to the game. Fuck that guy. Play ball!

Right that's cool and all but, just so we're on the same page though, you have a vague idea of what science is and how it works?

Saying that it deals in absolutes seems kind of ignorant is all, so just making sure. Also, why can't he have that opinion? You don't actually have to do what doctors recommend but recommending a course of action is...somewhat the point, no?

Like I was in the hospital recently and the PCA were like "we have to take your blood at 4am" and I was like "nah I'm good don't do that" and they were like "we have to" and I was like "nah I'm good" and then they didn't and I finally got a good night sleep there. On the flip side when I had a migraine* that blinded me temporarily in one eye and the neurologist was like "Hey dog we gotta do hella tests immediately to make sure you're not absolutely fucked, I'm going to call a stroke code to expedite it, a shit ton of people are going to rush you, is that cool?" I was like "yeah that's cool I'd like to know that too, scan the fuck outta this brain".

The neurologist wouldn't be very helpful if he just swung by like "Yo you might've had a stroke" and walked away.

*Neurologists currently assume this, because they don't deal in absolutes, because there's no evidence or indications of any harm whatsoever to my brain or eyes, they really only ruled out all the super scary shit that it could have been but don't know what actually happened. In fact, it'd be kinda dope if they _did_ only deal in absolutes and could tell me exactly what happened, because nothing makes you feel better than randomly going blind for 30 seconds and doctors being like "bro no fuckin idea that's weird".
