I'm as rare as they come, rare as any named can be,
The wanderings of my PH are still a mystery.
My namesake may place me on the deck of a ship,
Though the nearby boat won't travel at much clip.

TBH I don't get the 'namesake' line, but shall guess anyway... Pyzjn?

Not a bad guess, but no.

The namesake clue refers to the name of this mob having links to a part of a boat, but it might be too cryptic a clue if you aren't familiar with boats.

There are enough other clues to narrow this down though i think.
