thinking of rolling an inquisitor or a defiler/mystic. whats more viable in pvp either group or solo?

Inquisitor is almost designed for pvp. They have CC, root, a mana regen buff, and reactive heals ( heals that trigger once target gets hit). The best healers for pvp will be druids though for sure.

I would stay away from defilers or mystics because they wont be any good untill AAs come. They have really long cast times.

my experience is second hand so take with grain of salt but:

in pve end game you need at least one sham-type for slows.. ofc you also need inquis for obvious heal reasons

slows in pvp are less effective due to skill abundance (unless combat art cast time gets incr. due to slow debuffs? maybe someone can comment)

my inquis buddy in classic complained he couldnt kill shit, but could stay alive forever.

sham have a few dots, defiler moreso

I doubt slows will be relevant till the end RoK. The only reason to be a shaman in pvp is if you have a crew to roll with, then shamans will be gods. Sham Dru in a pvp group is pretty much win all the time.

Beta starts around July 8 I think. I haven't seen a date for actual launch.
