I'd like to apologize on behalf of my guildmates who are apparently too cool for that sort of thing. I don't think the attitude demonstrated here was appropriate for expressing disagreement with a rules change.

Excuse me, by "you" I should have said "the staff"

You are the face of this operation, so staff decisions in general do reflect upon you in the eyes of the community.

Also, didn't you post in the FoH forums that you had decided to take away the titles?

So a ban is the only way to throw someone back in their place? Well if it happens once it should happen everytime someone is out of line. To keep GM ruling the same you know?

You cant do something negative to players and not expect some kind of negative reaction. It happened all the time on live and was never met with this kind of discipline. I understand you are very involved personally(and do an amazing job) with this server but as the admin you "should" understand that these kind of things are going to happen and you cant get emotionally invested in the disciplinary decisions you make, which is clearly the case here.

A warning would have been just punishment if anything at all.

It was never said anywhere that it was his decision to remove titles explicitly.

Besides, this is about disagreeing with the manner in which things were handled by both parties.

All I know is I read his first post saying "I should just remove titles all together" followed by "All titles will be removed next patch" after more heckling.

Okay, my mistake - revert to my comment about replacing "you" with "the staff"

Either way, tells are private, and inspect window is a personal space. Bans? Really?

Look at what abacab did to me, and hes not banned right now.. if you guys really want to compare my disciplinary decisions. Abacab is pretty much the entire reason the FOH Thread went in the direction that it did. The same can happen to Olympia but hes going to have to get off his rage and make a petition and talk to me about it. The ban doesn't have to be permanent. I'm more than reasonable.

You guys do realize Rogean is the "Server Administrator", he makes the server hardware go vroom vroom, fights the ddos guy, assembles patches, and does C++ source work...and he does an excellent job at all of those.

He has the authority to make changes, absolutely, but if you want to disagree with rules, you should probably speak to me since I'm actually the owner and project manager? I don't see my inbox blowing up, its all happening openly on the forums.

Don't blame Rogean for changes made.. because any high-profile developer change isn't made independently.
