Personally Red99 is the most flawless server i've played on coming from the PVE experience, everything seems to work correct (thanks p99 blue beta i guess) but sure there needs to be some tuning to PVP.

I just don't got the time to roll up on another box that's just gonna end up in flames tho, if there's one thing Rogean has it's hosting capacity, and his shit is rarely EVER down.

I for one appreciate that, i feel like i can play now, and i can play in 2 years from now, shit's gonna be up.

The only big complaint i have about the server is the experience rate, it's filtering out to many potential players at this rate, i would hope they could increase the experience between 1-50 by like 500% tbh so normal joes could get 50 withtin a week then start the slow grind of 51-60 but atleast then they can join guilds, raid planes do some pvp, you know... the shit we all came here for.

Only downside to fast exp is "flavor of the month" but considering gear is pretty hard to come by and most good stuff is no drop it doesn't really matter.

Smedy is on point. My 35 pally is on the shelf because the thought of leveling to 50 alone is too daunting. I could probably level a caster to 50 in less time than the pally but I wont, because exp still isnt good enough. I'll have more fun on LoZ (even with the dwindling population) because at least there I can get shit done and find what little pvp there is left. Here I'm in a world all alone, medding to full for half a blue while listening to everyone else have all my unattainable fun.

been sayin this forever but yeah just need to boost 1-40 grind and/or have one hotzone to put the 20 lowbie players on the server (if that) in the same zone so it sorta resembles classic



that said the rate isnt THAT bad early. I have 12 hours played and i'm level 24 atm. GlobalOOCquest makes it slightly more entertaining. There's currently some neckbeard complaining that the pvp champ gloinz didn't wait for him to finish a mob before attacking

If everyone could get a character from 1 - 50 in a week, there would be alot more random groups and more random pvp going on in EQ, it might feel a bit more like back in the days of Live.
