I'd love to raid the older bosses like Vox & Nagafen, is there a guild I could join on red to make that happen once I hit 40+?

And this my friends is why this sever is not appealing to a large number of us. Too many lebrons seeking to chase rings (pve victories) and not enough Jordan's looking for competition (PVP battles). It's players like this guy who will be geared and leveled by the small market teams only to jump in free agency to nihilum. That's personally the main thing holding me back. Do I really want to invest time into one of these guilds like vae victus, help PL them give them gear etc to see them one by one jump ship? Rushmore, full of faith and excitement in this server, ultimately was converted to this truth as he saw all the work and time he put into these people down the crapper as they jumped ship for the quick ez pve fix.

Vae Victus is going strong. They had over 20 players on last night. I think its their main objective at the present.

Depending on what GMs have in store, the population may rise soon and there may be a couple more guilds on the scene.

Ya, God forbid someone playing EQ wants to actually play EQ. The server says pvp, so all content should be thrown out and it should definitely be Counterstrike with elves and swords amirite?

Go play LoZ. You were made for each other.

Is the nba exciting when only one team dominates the league? The lakers owned the early 2000s but yet ratings were at their lowest. People want to see great competitive games. The Knicks bulls rivalry of the 90s. It's no different here. You kill the server by crushing the morale of the rushmores of this sever.

Big hb still traumatized and "crushed" from his back-to-back, double-header guild defeat on R99. Do not despair new guys, hopefully the next group of players to join the server will have enough backbone (and knowledge of the game) to lose a few, and yet still be able to coordinate a mere 18 people (what we have raided with for months) and actually take down some raid targets.

They won't because this server in its present form caters to bluebies looking for quick satisfaction who aren't willing to build something long term. This could all change with whatever these announcements are that are coming such as hard code teams or yt / leaderboard.

Teams would be cool. Like 2 teams, not 5. But, at this stage in the server, is it really an option? I mean guilds are made and players are in them.

I'm a fan of item loot, teams, and all sorts of things.

Yellow text? I'm indifferent really. I don't consider it necessary, but as a tournament UT player, it's not completely bad. If it was added, I don't think zone names should be mentioned. Are the majority of people wanting it due to pvp spam, or for zone info?
