Cute. I tried mine and it didn't let me log in when I skipped the caps. I must have typoed.

Who makes a password system that's case-insensitive? I mean, really, what the hell?

Back off. I'm apparently wrong, you've said so, and I'll consider myself corrected and go on about my day. No need to get nasty about it, unless that's how you get off, in which case -- fill your boots.

So the only way to avoid this until it's fixed is to play private games only with friends ?

and you shouldn't have to worry about an authenticator for a game like D3. For popular MMOs yeah it's wise to have that extra account security, but D3 is not a MMO and should have an offline single player mode. Believe it or not, there's a lot of people who are only interested in single player, so this is just a slap in the face...and amusing at the same time.

Its my personal belief blizzard could put a stop to alot of this. They just choose not to and tell people the easy fix is to buy an authenticator which means $$$ for them.
I wanted to play D3 really bad, but only as a first player game. Its rediculous that i have to get online and risk being hacked or messed with and having server crashes and lag to deal with when i shouldnt all in an effort for blizzard to try to pump more $$ out of me from an authenticator and from their AH for real $$. As much as i wanted to play it i wont be.

you can do authentication with a phone via dial in, or mobil phone android/iphone app. so no you dont have to buy the authenticator.

I have a relative who works at a research facility and she uses an authenticator to log into her work every day. I don't see why another layer of security is somehow a bother. They are simple and extremely secure. Blizzard gives you a free pass to higher security and people bitch about it? Bizarre.
