Yep, and what were saying is that that is the fundamental flaw in the server. If its overrun by vultures, people will look elsewhere for enjoyment. Losing said vultures will eventually provide a more enjoyable experience for new players.

Fundamental difference, yes. And a flaw if you see it that way.

But man, I've gotten more kicks out of the crazy characters on the server that's more than well worth the $0 I spent. It's tons of fun if you don't let the trolling get to you.

Also, the 'vultures' are all focused on the top dog, which is you guys, haha.

New players have it easier than ever right now, what with the boosted exp, free handouts, etc.

Maybe once some of them grow up you'll see a shift in the server dynamic.

I'm a new player. I got burnt out on beta and started up a week or something ago. I'm level 19 now. I am motivated to level to enjoy trying to get ahold of some old world only drops like MS and the Guise. Hopefully I won't lose that motivation. There are a lot of folks still grinding through their first toon that are in their 30's now.

This server wont benefit from moving forward. Moving to kunark with all of 60 players online won't do a lot of good. I think it needs to get rolling old world style and then kunark can bring folks in for that content. I know we aren't talking about kunark just yet, but the point is still valid.

Sorry to ruin your troll bros but as far as I know there is nothing planned for tomorrow. Someone asked Rogean about this in IRC a few days ago and he laughed then said "Think about it man. WHERE would they have heard it?"

Furthermore - WHY would Rogean tell some random player mana stones and jboots were being taken out?

I will say that i think you should bust your ass camping those things because it is an accelerated time line and i think they were in game for 7 months on live.

I couldn't disagree more with this. The lack of content is killing the player base.
