I know the goals of this project are vaguely defined, but I think it's assumed that the devs (and the players) want to more or less recreate the charm of classic eq pvp. One thing that many people enjoyed about classic pvp was the diverse community, among whom were players with varying self-imposed rules of engagement (like the examples I gave earlier - PK's, anti-PK's, elf supremacists, etc). i understand but in regards to your previous statement about YT was that "it is not classic" .. yes i understand some people want this server to be as close as possible to being classic, but we all know that's not possible. its possible in a perfect world, but welcome to planet earth.
I honestly agree with YT being in game. No matter what, people will avoid being pvp'd in any situation (plugging, suicide, etc.). I feel YT brings out the 'fun' in it.
In other words, i feel YT makes pvp more worthwhile.. an example would be you are fighting someone for 30 minutes and finally you manage to kill them; yeah sure its fun.. but that same fight would be so much more rewarding if your accomplishments were broadcasted
just my two cents, not trying to start an argument.
