If resists are fixed (upped) and channeling could be properly broken by melee, pvp would be great.
This would be a weak fix in comparison.

Quick question, shock of lightning, does 88 damage, lvl 12 wizard nuke. On live, in '99, I used it a lot because it had spell pushback and would interrupt anyone casting. Does shock of lightning have the same effect here?

since partials work as is i hope this does not mean that the upcoming patch will be a happy clusterfuck of seeing 100 resistance shave off 30% of a casters damage.

seemed/seems more like 15 - 20 percent from the testing in beta and the feedback threads and current in game experiences, the current live server seems the same to me as beta with exception to certain spell lines i did not have access to for testing and cant speak on.
in any case if everything is working as intended i guess i'm curious what the proposed changes are. mainly just dont want to log in one day and find that i would do more damage meleeing like much of beta was. | ||
