to be fair...the devs put in HUGE effort to get the boats working, because it's what we all wanted. that's something the SoE team even gave up on, because DX9 broke the code, and it was too much effort for them to fix.

combine that with the fact that the huge majority of us love the boats and want it as part of our EQ experience...

you just kinda touched a nerve i think bro...

Well there really isn't a place to just hang out and go afk. So if you want to find a high level porting you would have to be where a high level is leveling. There isn't a EC area with a bunch of taxis standing around.

Also there aren't a ton of high levels yet with group ports.

my secret when I wanted to change continents was I would run to a wizard spire or a druid ring and /w all dru /w all wiz, then proceed to send tells to all of them until one said yes


there weren't too many when I was leveling, but it always seemed to work

I know it is all nostalgia, but so is staring into your spell book till 35. Just put in translocators so we can easisly get to other places for groups etc. Running from FP to say MM to get into a group would only take me 5-10 min instead of an hour.
