It's a cycle and a self- fulfilling prophecy that only exists because of shit like this. Look at how many people quit because of exploits - a ton. Were there really that many exploits? Were there really any exploits not fixed? No and no.

Peoplr quit because they believe what they read on the forums. Its why I said there shouldnt be troll threads by cast, lulz, random idiot001, etc that last for a week. Its the same thing now, all the whiners that complain about exp being rough or exp loss or whatever make threads about how the server is dying. People see it and they stop playing. If you dont like the game then quit, good riddance - but stop shitting up the forums with your whining about server population because the server wasnt catered to your every whim.

I've pretty much quit at this point when Holocaust is allowed to exploit everything on the box and get away with it. It's too much like VZTZ #348 to me. Consider it a victory if you'd like. my problem with the current attitude towards population numbers is the "sit back and do nothing" mind frame. there should always be a push to improve numbers not just sit and post "Nothing is happening, its not bad, stop posting"

are you people really that daft ? when you see this amount of QQ on a topic, it usually has some legitimacy. You're gonna be sitting here in 2 months with a population of 100 saying "IT WAS ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO POSTED DOOMSDAY THREADS THAT KILLED THE POPULATION" when it's our faults for not trying to fix the problem.

Not much you can do when Holocaust recruits up to 3x the size of any other guild and has paladins soloing Nagafen while the rest zerg you at zone ent.

You could say the same thing about having someone solo Nagafen. We could have done that too, way earlier in the day after we cleared fire giants. But instead we waited to get a larger force on. That was a huge mistake. Cast was right about one thing: exploit anything you can. No one cares.

But the thing is, I don't want to play under these conditions. I want to play EverQuest, not Call of DutyQuest. We could have half the server pop, one-man-kill every raid target, and declare ourselves the victors like Holocaust plans to/wants to do. But this isn't fun to me so I can happily bow out now if I'm not having fun under these conditions. Contrary to popular belief, my life will go on after EQEmu.
