Eh everyone can use Greenmist at the end so it really dont matter :-P well like a month or so after greenmist was released that is, I belive it was iks only for alittle bit.

Other races couldn't use Greenmist until post-Luclin.

I wonder if the quest will also get fixed at the same time?

Greenmist was not in game untill quite later than many feel...was it kunark even? if so very end or later... I am sure there is a patch note somewhere that says exactly when it was put in. It was then added to all SKs once we all QQed nuff to SOE to realize that if we did the faction we should be able to use it...that ot take inny curse away from iksars and just give them greenmist :-D

If you guys think that is a screenshot yall are all a bunch of noobs. Allas took a standard background and typed in stats. I knew a DE sk on live with greenmist, it was added the same patch that added the herald in chardok during velius erra. That supposed link on alla's was typed in based off of someone's account of the stats just like half the items there. The only limiter on the race for the thing was the faction. turning in 7200 bonechips for iksar faction wasn't the thing to do at the time so it seemed iksar only, but there were people that both knew about khukri and ground out the faction to get it. Remember at this time links did no exist all stats were typed by hand.
Very disappointing.

As someone who ground out the faction on a very low level sk (I gained like a dozen levels just from quest turnins over the many weeks it took), I am probably a bit biased. I don't play often but I was a bit sad when I noticed I couldn't equip my Crusader's Khukri.

Getting there as a person without a high level character to lean on or vast sums of money was a monumental task. I hope everyone can appreciate the gravity of such a change, especially on such thin evidence.

I'll ask around about this and see what I can find. I don't really trust those alla images. I was around back then but I was busy raiding and didn't do an iksar alt.

Ok I talked to my friend that practically IS an iksar he remembers so much from that time. He said the weapons were indeed iksar only. This makes me very sad that I didn't look into this before spending all of that time.

He also said the "I lost my weapon" quests weren't in for a long time. And that the tradeskill combines weren't no fail (I don't remember any though, maybe he's talking about shaman or warrior).

We had a big fat troll shadowknight in our guild in those days, and I remember him doing faction very early, even before we were in veeshan's peak (and we got some of the first kills in there). I'll try to track him down and see what he says as well.
