Sept 1999. I ran from qeynos to Freeport at like lvl 14ish with no sow and didnt think to bind periodically. I was able to get through the common lands past all the evil Dark elves and when i got to freeport i got pked by a gnome wizard before i could bind. Learned a few things from that

Na the account has always been mine, although a few people did play the toon when i was in grad school ect. I still own it but Yasenia plays on occasion.

I thought there was some other story involved. Something like: You quit and sold the account and then acquired it back like a year later. When you didn't have the acct it was renamed and put in the guild Ancient Dawn. When you took it back and renamed it to Aspitx.

Maybe it was something like: IIRC wasn't there drama about selling off guild loots for plat and selling plat for $$ to buy the acct back? Something like selling the acct to guild for plat, which you hocked for $$, but then came back or some such?

Yep. Did that same run at the same time, except the other way. Ran from Gfay to Qeynos to be around more guildies at level 10. Got lost in Runnyeye and died without a bind in FP. Got a bind in FP the next time, made it back to Runnyeye, and lost two levels trying to get my corpse out. Finally got to Qeynos and got PKed for good measure before I could get another bind – back to FP with my corpse in Qeynos.

It took me a week to go from Gfay to Qeynos basically. And then I hated Qeynos after only being there for a day, and got my first ever port back to Gfay by one of the first few Wizards with port abilities.
