150+ dungeons in the game. No co-op mode but in a couple of months I would expect to see some buggy mods

I'm assuming this games single player? Is it worth buying? Like am I going to beat it in 2 days and be pissed off I spent 60 bucks or what.
It's estimated to be roughly 100 hours, with 200-300 hours of side-quest content. If we learned anything from Fable...you'll beat it in a couple of days.

Anyone can 'powergame' through a single player game in like 60 hours if tehy really want. I've played close to 11 hours and I'm level 11, I've done maybe 3 or 4 dungeons and haven't even been to a hold yet.

I rerolled as an orc rogue type. My focus is: 1 Handed, Archery, Light Armor, Sneak.
Secondary Focus is: Blacksmithing, Lockpicking, Pick Pocket.

Right now I have lol'd hard watching 6x damage from my sword with sneak attacks insta kill bandits when I crouch around in dungeons. I should probably bump up the difficulty to expert but I'm having too much fun being a boss.

Streaming skyrim again.

I think I've completed the "main" part of the game. Now I'm just taking over the towns (starting with Whiterun).

Too be completely honest, I fucking hate single player RPG's. So boring.
but ill give Skyrim a try because of the promise of slaying large amounts of dragons. If i can't dunk on people, i better be able to dunk on dragons.
The expansiveness, interactivity, and sandbox nature of Everquest made me turn my back on most single player games that have come out in the last 12 years, but the Elder Scroll series has always been an exception. I hate walking along the path presented to you in most single player games, but this series is totally different. It is all up to you, just like EQ. What is interesting too is that the NPCs have a lot to say, even down to being able to overhear people chatting on the street. It helps you to not feel so alone in the single player world. So I hear where you are coming from, but you should not sell Elder Scrolls short!

Anyway, I'm about 15 hours in and am a level 8 wood elf specializing in archery and sneaking. Raising the 5k to buy a house was my first priority, as I love collecting randomness in these games. So now that I have that done, I will really start chewing through some missions!
