i killed ~25-35 every 7 minutes for 10 hours. roughly 3,000 sarnaks.

I'm p sure the only ones that drop the earring are casters - so all those recruits, legos, etc melee sarnaks probably don't count

I've read conflicting reports as to if non-casters drop them or not. lets say that 50% were non casters, i still killed ~1500 casters, that;s less than a 0.15% drop rate

Personally, I think the P99 version of Dalnir is way off.

In the hours I've spent in Dalnir never seen one drop, I have 2 on my rogue and monk. Took 25 hours about of killing on my rogue and 60+ on monk at Lake fort. All priest class sarnaks there drop them. It's totally random. In this time i got 8 bracers of the hidden as well so ends up being worth it. You make decent vendor coin as well.

I camped it once but not on p99. Sarnak fort. Took a few hours...i remember walking away thinking it was a breeze.

Btw it was years ago but i think it was an adherent that dropped it

I once saw 4 in a 26 hour period 2 of which I got for my monk. All were from adherents in Lake of Ill Omen. If you can get a solid group you can easily do 20-30 at the fort on the ledge and have a good chance of earrings and other loot. If I was a newb melee looking for a good cash spot and a chance for lasting gear cant think of a better spot. If you are grinding earrings and stuff at higher levels venture farther into the fort to the chancellors area, spawns are denser in there. With rumors that they drop from things other than adherents I'd just mow down everything. This leaves the entrance and ledge free for the poor newbs who can't venture farther into the fort.
