Manual transmission sucks imo.
u dum?

its not about having a smooth ride- it's because its *fun*. generally people buy sports cars b/c they are fun to drive, so it makes sense 2 maximize da enjoyment level. pretty much the only setting in which a manual is dum is if you;re commuting in stop start heavy traffic

i own a 91 twin turbo 300zx and a supercharged 1997 M3/ 4 DOOR with full dinan suspension..

Nissan is a great choice... BMW is tops for handling thats for sure.... i would look into used m3's maybe ...

Or possibly an s13/s14 conversion ?

Few questions..

what are you buying a car for?
like...
You have kids?
You want sport car?
you want gas mileage?
you want reliability?
you want cheap parts?
easy upkeep?

help me, help you.

Honda - Super reliable, great gas mileage, decent sportiness depending on model.
Don't buy a civic, pretty cheap for dependability.
Get a Vtec - 15 million Vtecs built, not a single one failed.

Nissan - Sentra's are good for family cars, 350z and 370z are ok I guess i don;t know too mucha bout them. 240sx are fun. 300zx are for extremists who like badass cars but love burning fuel.

Toyota/Scion - Reliable, good gas mileage, sporty depending on model, somewhat cheap.

Ford - No

Dodge - No

Chevy - Cobalt SS are pretty cool and Supercharged.

Subaru - other then too many imprezas like theres too many civics, hard to work on, expensive parts, somewhat reliable, decent gas milage. fun sporty cars.

Mitsubishi - eclipse's, lancers, evos, diamontes, DSM are good company, but hard to work on and expensive parts, but not a bad choice.

Basically all cars will have pros and cons ofc.

Never buy a Kia

Never buy a Hyndai

Never buy a Suzuki

Grats on your over weight mid-life crisis car. auto tran and no turbo. my 89 supra would destroy that thing from start to finish.

Also grats, if anything goes wrong with that auto tranny, expect to pay over $1k for anything on it to get fixed.

wow and i thought you weren't a giant twat when i read your thread [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

25 year old wants a nice car and its a mid life crisis, ive driven shit cars my whole life, but let me know how that 89 supra would be in bumper to bumper traffic for an hour.
I'm also quite sure it's a piece of shit at the moment that a tweaked civic would beat.

Worst idea ever. Koreans are taking over this world, deal with it.

Also, lol at buying a chevy cobalt, go go cavalier.
