i logged into lake rathe fine but after leveling a few times i went to zone into SK and crashed...and can not log back in now without it crashing before i can load the zone

Do not extract the "old" files. Works if you don't.

No it doesn't. Pretty sure this is a Red99 issue, if you're not playing on Red99 then don't comment.

It has nothing to do with the "old" folder. I extracted contents to dektop, manually deleted the "old" folder before moving the other file sinto directory. Crashed zoning in KaladimA to KaladimB, can not log any characters online now without client crashing.

I tested this on a VM box, and just extracted everything but the old folder.

Still the same issue when playing on R99.

It doesn't matter if you extract the old folder or not, try to figure out something else that makes some crash while not others. Look at the troubleshooting post I made.

I just got in....i made eq full-screen, not sure if that had anything to do with it...before logging in on my toon
