Rotating hotzones.

I haven't bothered digging through the forums, whatever.

I think it's a good compromise, and it creates pvp.

Edit: promoting PvP is collateral damage of rotating hotzones, not it's sole purpose.

^ dont need to create incentives to pvp. Having the option to do so is enough, and really the point.

I leveled just fine without any bonuses on live; SZ players got this because of exp loss on pvp death (here it will be a very small exp loss). Having said that, I would like to see an exp bonus so we can hopefully steal more of the blue99 players.

Without question. Maybe not as drastic as what we have now, but even with an exp bonus I expect it to be marginally more difficult to level on red than blue.

EQ has always been about the journey, and how rewarding it is each level you achieve because you worked your ass off for it. Personally i dont like xp loss on pvp death, but if I want to play on the Red server i'll do so no matter what the XP is like.

Ill suck it up with no bonus, but shaving just a few hours off here and there wouldn't be the end of the world. Took me about 6 months as a ranger on blue to hit 50, so if Im pvping in naggys lair and its not yet 2014 ill be shocked. Whatever.

My end goal is 41 and you'll beat me by hitting 50 first.

i'd say for live, keep the xp bonus as it is right now, but a pvp death will make you lose like 30% of your level or something. It's still going to hurt.
