i'm totally down for a Dragonlance show/movie

if we all pretend the Kenders don't actually exist.

Totally. And (you may already know this, but) Ravensloft was made by the same couple that made Dragonlance (which is why Lord Soth moved from one to the other).

As ive gotten older its funny, raistlin really never cast many spells in any of the books. The only time raistlin really showed his spellcasting prowess was in the sewers of neriak against the other elder black robed mages (and that was a fantastic payoff).

I do feel like I remember him feather falling or levitating at one point, but you're right.

As an author you can't have a story about ten (or something like that) main characters, where all but two (Raistlin and the "thief") are warriors ... and just have the wizard mowing everything down with spells constantly.

Im indifferent to the idea as ive gotten older. Outside of LOTR movies I havent seen many positive examples from this genre. Rings of power was pretty bad except for sauron in season 2. Ill plod through season 3 im sure.

Yeah there isn't any really, it's LOTR and a couple cartoons that take the genre seriously

and Lodoss War doesn't hold up as well as i remember it but it's pretty faithful to it's source material whitch was a DnD campaign that was turned into some books/comics then a cartoon.
