and yes, for the record i was there first, players just showed up and started killing my mobs, but im not about to start a PNP war or waste GMs time with a petition for a game most of us are playing casually, but it's like.... idk, i just see these events as clearly toxic, and mostly exploited by the elites of the server, again, double spawn rate would honestly be a better system

i experienced lots of garbage from garbage people on Sunday.
heres some effects from such a crazy bonus like this: - Newer players get to experience bonus XP, loot and fun. Brought a 6 person group to a classic old-world camp and got 3 people upgrades in about 2 hours time. Because of the vendor trash dropped, they were also able to make some plat as a result. - Newer players get to push through the hell levels: had two members of the team go from 50% of 45 to 46 in < 2 hours. Also though: - Camp fiends, pixel-sick sweatlords and people levelling their 13th alt poopsock exp and group content camps. Self-explanatory - Newer players get to experience the pixel-sickness - Newer players get to experience dick behavior from the pixel-sick slags who have been around servers for 5, 10, 15+ years. Got trained twice by the same level 60 player with my level 45 group of casuals, because the level 60 was trying to leapfrog us to our end destination. - Newer players get a taste of the bonus, while sweatlords and scumbags dominate the high-value camps. I don't raid anymore, so I didn't experience any of that - but I bet it was glorious. | ||
