The worst offenders are the ones that actually group with others when obviously boxing. I had this happen in Blackburrow long ago. Someone and his wife were playing. She rarely said anything, could not follow us to save her life so we would all have to stop and wait while "she" caught up with us (particularly when we'd drop down to the ramp from the top level etc. I submitted a report on the petition forum but I know this "team" is still playing on the servers. I ran into them in Upper Guk later and she couldn't follow us to the scryer properly (because that path is a bitch to navigate on one computer as it is). He'd always make an excuse like oh, she's new here, or having computer issues etc.
WTB names. PST or......Send me a pm. i cannot read the petitions/exploits forum but i can read in game petitions or in game tells.......

On a side-note, I'd love to learn how the GM's verify their suspicions. I have always assumed it involved getting the two players to do something simultaneously etc. with no warning (like both type something.. both do some movements..)
OMGZZZZZZ super top sekrit testingsesesseses.

i summon you to phinegal atropos and see if both of you try very hard to escape him or if one stands and gets eaten while the other swims. true story.

this would be doubly hilarious because most people newer to the server probably have a swimming skill of roughly (1) to (5). [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

"Testing" someone is basically the same as giving a man with a noose around his neck his last words. When it gets to this point, we already have you. That is not say that if during your last words you pull out a picture of you with the president taken at the same time as the crime was committed you still get hung.

just to be fair to "apparent" two-boxers:

while it is still quite possible, the excuses given are sometimes true. Sometimes (and when I say sometimes, I mean in my case and not hard to believe could be repeated) people of the same IP will be one person who wants to play, and another who does.. but just not really. Specifically, my brother played WoW at the same time. I was accused of boxing a few times, and that was because my brother was tabbed out playing warcraft. As a cleric, people would die. Then when he switched to wizard... well, it just looked like I picked a better class to box with.

That sucks, I'm really sorry to hear about your account

I'd want to pummel the kids face in with a can of string beans, dear god.

You should get yourself invited over his house and take his computer, or at the very least piss on his keyboard.

Thank you for being sympathetic, I do understand the story could sound farfetched but this life is filled with variables and mine well.. were against me.

I've only ever helped, and roleplayed to add to the immersiveness of this server

My advice is to not talk about it anymore in server chat. Odds are the person who banned you doesn't want people using a similar excuse every time they ban someone... Just handle it discreetly.
