The ER is the most expensive, least effective place to go for healthcare. At the same time, its the only place to go if you have a serious problem. GJ healthcare system.

Never had to wait longer than 25-30 mins (usually closer to 10-15 tops)...Been to the ER's here in Florida probably 7-10 times

This is correct. If there's a smaller clinic within a 30 mile radius, try that one out. My mother-in-law is a nurse practitioner and agrees that you need to have your foot looked at immediately. Sooner the better to stop the spread of infection / disease.

The ER is only concerned about bullet-holes or near-road-kills. They look at your injury as a boo-boo. Go somewhere else to be treated if your health insurance allows it.

Go eat an apple, get a trampoline, and a bucket a chicken. Jump around while eating both, and you'll be fine in about 45 minutes.
