You can love animals and eat them. Humanely raised livestock that has spent life in a pasture before being humanely slaughtered is arguably a kinder paradigm than the natural order of things, where the animal is being strangled and ripped apart. Industrialized animal products are immoral no matter how you look at it. You can't even feed meat to 4 billion people without industrializing it, much less 8 billion, btw

Ya, here the most common reasons to lose someone’s license to practice are 1. Selling your clients something not involved with their treatment aka exploiting them financially or 2. Having sex with your client

Those were the big ones. The entire system of oversight was put in place to protect the person’s clients

nah they only became enemies after Hitler betrayed the pact w/ Stalin and invaded russia. Before that they were happy enough just being neighbors who didn't agree on things.

the Nazi's would have won if they didn't have to fight the soviet steamroller. the US loves to be all like, oh you'd speak german if it weren't for us in WW2, the reality was that the Nazi's were so far ahead technologically, that if they didn't have to spend their vast resources across an area as large as russia, then they would have had enough to push to North America.

without the endless hordes of russian peasants to eat up their ammo, nobody could have hoped to buy the time to develop the technology required to fight the Nazis, leaving the Nazis with the time and resources to develop the atomic bomb that since it's use has defined all major conflicts to this day.

The brits wouldn't have cracked engima, the Allies couldn't have invaded italy or france, and the Nazis would have had the resources of the soviet union at their friendly disposal, rather than having to face them on the battlefield.

They both considered each other existential threats to their way of life and had complete and utter contempt for one another. The Molotov Ribbentrop Pact was for convenience as both had an interest in delaying a war each knew was inevitable. Beyond that, they had just fought in WWI and the Nazis knew they were going to get double penetrated again. The Nazis exterminated millions of Soviet prisoners and the Soviets did the same thing back, though they didn't catch as many Nazis.

But yea you're right that WW2 was mainly won by the Soviets and it's irritating how much credit the West takes for ending that war

say the Nazi's didn't bail on OP Seal Lion and invaded britain, now they have control of the atlantic from africa to norway.

Immediately the Nazi's would have been like, "shite, we need alot more coal and iron than we did before"

Stalin would show up and say, "Here's millions of tons of coal and iron in exchange for thousands of tons of gold bullion"

then the ideological differences take a back seat to the economic cooperation making everyone rich.
