Is that true for british english too? Not a native english speaker so always assumed it was pronounced as the verb in both cases | ||

In the early days, shield of words was also abbreviated SoW, and it was confusing because people want spirit of wolf much more frequently.

I played the whole classic era and I def did not have the same Mandela experience as you. Hearing Spirit of the wolf actually sounds really uncanny and disturbingly wrong to me.

The only thing I remember about SoW back in 1999, was watching druids kite sand giants in Oasis and I looked upon them as if they had super powers and it was because they had that spell.
Still didn't motivate me to create a Druid though. | ||
