Yep, that's endurance and dedication and also what passes for skill in a game that could be played by a quadriplegic. Frankly, those are still more meaningful traits or skills than rapid joy-stick manipulation or expert button-mashing, anyway.

Just look at the amount of people who regularly play drunk or high. EQ can't take that much skill

look at wow raids, they require quick thinking and changes you need to adapt to in order to complete most encounters, I have seen some very clever strategies to complete BC encounters. People still fucked up and bad even after this wheelchair was put under them. I have never had so much rage in my life trying to raid with people who didn't understand how to run to the other side, or "don't fucking dps that guy yet".

I hate that game because of this. I cringe every time I see something WoW. If I could stab an ethereal concept such as a game I would.

Actually, anybody know where they keep their servers? I feel like embarking on an epic quest to free 11 million souls from their torments and curses.

Seriously l o fucking l at the nerds trying to say the raiding aspect of classic everquest takes any type of skill.

Especially the fags from TR. You guys zerg down encounters because theres no limit to how many people you can take with you to slay the magical dragon. Thats some mad skill right there.

The only thing classic EQ raiding takes is mass amounts of people, geared warriors and no real life commitments. A lot of people here can't raid because they can't drop what they're doing at a moments notice to go kill the demigod your boxing druid just picked up on track. There are literally no mechanics to fights, just make sure you've got resist gear on for specific encounters and you're golden as long as your clerics don't fall asleep at the wheel.

There are no mechanics to any fights in MMOs. There are fucking gimmicks, sure, but mechanics? Come on. We repeat the encounters to the point where they can be done while choking myself and jerking off on kittens. And I'm talkin' live kittens.
