I lived in Japan for 5 years, so I love me some yakitori. First thing I did when I moved to the Netherlands was find my local Asian market.
Last time I was at the Asian market I was noticing how all the men stand around like they are in the yakuza, or have this expression like they are just totally not interested in their surroundings and have a like 1000 yard stare, and I was wondering if that was a cultural effect of having all this cute shit everywhere, if the men who want to be men just try to avoid looking at things or being interested in things

A take on French onion soup. Added some carrots, celery, and little asparagus in with the carmelized onions. Then homemade meatballs, and probably a bit too much cheese.

I ate too much.

I refuse to participate in this thread until the benefit of the doubt that I'm the greatest cook to have ever lived is acknowledged. Every week, in reviewing the weekly sales ads for the four grocery stores around me I develop a week long meal plan for feeding a family of six on the iron chef three items challenge.

I'm like the robin hood of loss leaders meets iron chef bobby flat.

You ever have paprika and brown sugar spiced cauliflower sliced into 1/2" steaks and seared to near burnt topped with BBQ ground beef smothered in cheese?

I'll make your butthole long for more

Rice, Veggies(your choice I used potato, peas, cauliflower, carrot-orange, capsicum, french beans), Masala and Yogurt(thicker and less sour- mother dairy/nestle which come in cups rather than pouch).

Rice should be good quality basmati better to go with a variety in price range of 70–100 rs per kg. Wash it till the water runs clear and soak it for at least 30 mins. Boil it for some 20–25 mins, we want them to 50–60% done.

When I made it I first deep fried all the veggies till they were a little soft.

Take a cooker heat up some oil/ghee put jeera, bay leaf, whole garam masala, put, onion, tomato, all the veggies, salt, red chilli powder, dhania powder, haldi and cook it for 5–10 mins and then add yogurt and cook for another 2–3 mins and add the rice all over the cooked veggies and add some saffron milk over the rice and cover the lid, remove the whistle heat should be lowest so better to use your smallest burner at lowest heat. Also use a damp kitchen towel to cover the cooker along with the whistle and cook it for 30–35 mins. Open it after 10 mins -15 mins.

nah, there is only hellish punishments for consuming red meat.... chronic diseases like heart disease, certain cancers (especially colorectal cancer), and type 2 diabetes just aren't worth risking.
