I post (mostly in OT) and don’t really play anymore. I have far less free time than I used to but even when I do I just can’t motivate myself to log in and continue the grind from 52 onward. I’ve done far worse grinds before, I don’t understand why I keep wussing out and instead end up just watching dumb shit on YouTube

Classic EQ is a game of time.

Time to level, time to camp and wait for a rare spawns for good items.

When you hit level cap and good gear, you play the time game for raid targets.

Players with time are always at the advantage. They play early to stock up on items that will go up in value when removed. They are available for every pop of a target with multiple alts camped out at each spawn.

It sucks to not have that level of time, but at least you're doing something constructive with your life and not chasing 20 year old elf quest pixels.

I think things are starting to get spicier on blue. New guilds challenging for mobs, Kittens showing a strong force, Riot not quite dead yet. These guilds on these quakes are starting to really battle. Obviously Vanquish is taking the majority of the mobs, but if these other smaller guilds could just drop their ego's and work together, they could really challenge the king.

More people in the newish guilds are learning what it takes to succeed against the top guilds. Stop playing the victim and show us what you got! Play the game against us, not against the environment.
