What if your sins(in that religion) are unforgivable?

Asking for a friend. 🥺
Lol are there that many? I guess Christianity is kind of ezmode, no matter what sin if you feel honest remorse and repent and accept Christ by the end I think you’re golden

I honestly don’t know what other religions have as an unforgivable sin. I think most offer some sort of a lifeline based in repentance and compensation, but not sure. Not an expert in world religions

Yeah it’s pretty messed up, but let’s be realistic. There’s a decent chance their parents aren’t keeping the firewall up to date and those kids have stumbled onto hardcore porn online anyway

Do you know the amount of times a parent brings up to me at work how they have to figure out how to restrict parts of the internet from their tech-savy 10-12ish year old kid because they found their porn viewing history? Usually with incredibly awkward details of that history as the kid tries to melt into the floor from across the table

I don’t say it of course but I’m thinking well it’s a bit late, looks like your kid’s idea of what sex is like is aggressive gangbangs. He’s gonna be surprised to find out the girls IRL are gonna be usually a lot uglier, require actual courtship, and are probably (not always lol) far less noisy in bed. Stuff like that

I feel bad for kids growing up getting their ideas about sex and women from hardcore porn

I imagine kids now basically have to suck dick or or kick someone's ass on the first day of Jr high.

I still remember a few years back talking to this lower functioning and probably gay autistic kid who was about 11ish years old. By lower functioning, he was mentally about age 8. Not the kind of autistic where you can barely tell

Because of his low level of functioning he had basically no filter. I was building rapport talking about what games he played, and like almost all the kids his age at that time he absolutely loved the stupid animatronic horror game Five Nights At Freddy’s, which there have been tons of sequels to. Not as popular now but was crazy popular with the younger kids years ago

He’s going into all these details about the game as I’m trying to shift the conversation to more productive topics and then he asks, loudly in the middle of his school counseling office, “AND HAVE YOU SEEN 5 NIGHTS AT FUCKBOYS?!

Later to his mom I was trying to find a way to bring up, without breaking confidentiality, how “speaking in generalities” it’s helpful to make sure children are using the internet responsibly and appropriately….

Mark 3:28-29 KJV

Quote:
Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation

There are a few. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

In that case, belief would be torment before torment.

Only unless your friend, upon realizing he committed an unforgivable sin, also stopped believing in that religion because that became the new mentally convenient worldview
